Many of my past students are successful working voice over actors.
Q: Will I be ready to work professionally as a voice actor after this class?
A: Most people (even trained actors) when truly diving into top level training in voice over realize how specialized an acting skill it is. Thus, this may be just the beginning of your voice over journey. But it’s a great way to start and see where you are at!! If you are already a highly trained professional actor, you will have a head start for sure.
Q: Do you help us set up our home studio after the class is over?
A: No, but I will have provided you resources and ideas how to get started on potential next steps.
Q: Will you tell us where all of the other classes are in town?
A: Absolutely! My most successful students have studied with many teachers and schools and have integrated training into their ongoing journey.
Q: Will you help us find an agent?
A: No.
Q: Do you teach acting as well as voice acting?
A: I have a GREAT acting class - with a location in Burbank, as well as Hollywood. Go here to learn more: https://acting-class.davidbabich.com/ Many of my previous voice over students train with me as actors. In fact I started the acting class as a resource for my v.o. students.
Q: As an actor yourself, do you do screen acting as well as Voice Over?
A: Yes, my background in professional acting goes back to the late 90s in theatre, film, TV, and most genres of voice over. I still work professionally. You can catch me in season 2 of Fallout on Amazon, and my most recent voice over work was directing an Amazon Pictures live action dub and also playing several voice roles on the film.
