David Perez Babich - Owner, Instructor
David started teaching in 1999. His main teaching focus is is now acting technique and scene study. He also has has 25 years of experience as a voice coach, and also taught voice over acting from 2006 to 2025. He holds a Bachelors in Voice and Music Composition from UCLA, a Certificate in Classical Acting from Bennett Theatre Lab, and a Certificate in Film Directing from Los Angeles City College. His teaching is known for being individualized, organized, creative and inspiring. More Here.

Amelia Lewis - Social Media Manager / Student
Amelia was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and grew up performing with her family in a Filipino Folk dancing troupe. The troupe traveled all throughout Canada as well as internationally. In 2006, Amelia and her mom moved to Los Angeles, California. Throughout elementary and high school, Amelia studied various styles of dance, vocal performance, and acting. She performed in numerous competitions as part of Burbank High's award-winning Show Choir, In Sync. Upon graduating high school, Amelia went on to study Business Entertainment at California State University Fullerton. She graduated with honors in 2017 and landed a job in Production Management working on the Walt Disney Lot. Today, Amelia works at Walt Disney Animation studios as a Production Coordinator helping create beloved animated feature films. On the side, Amelia lends her voice as vocal reference or "scratch" for a number of Disney animated feature projects. This is where her acting journey with David began. She looks forward to entering the Voice Over space and continuing to study acting with David.

Thomas Toohill - Intern
Thomas Toohill is from Le Roy, Illinois, and will be graduating from Columbia College Chicago in the spring of 2026. He is an Acting B.A. major with a minor in Video Production. Since 2014, he has performed in numerous musical theatre productions, including Columbia College Chicago productions such as HAIR and RENT, in which he played Roger. During his time at Columbia, Thomas has appeared in several short films, including the BFA thesis projects 5W-30 and Puck, while also directing projects for his YouTube channel. Thomas is currently interning at David Babich Studio and is new to the Los Angeles area. It has been a longtime dream of his to be an actor in LA, and he cannot wait to begin this new chapter.
