Ongoing Acting class
In our ongoing technique and scene study class, we work on theater scenes as well as film scenes, using a proven discovery technique, leading toward mastery on stage as well as on-camera. David's scene study approach is influenced by Adler, Meisner, Stanislavsky (via Philip Bennett), and Richard Seyd -- it combines structural analysis (Objective, Event, Action Analysis), as well as Richard Seyd's Trigger Approach - a groundbreaking approach to text absorption and analysis leading to being fully in the moment.
THE MOMENT is where the magic is in great acting -- so we train regularly in: Spontaneity, risk-taking, imagination, and improvisation in addition to scene work.

David holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Vocal Performance from UCLA, a Certificate in Classical Acting from Bennett Theatre Lab, and a Certificate in Film Directing from Los Angeles City College.
