A Well-Rounded Approach to Great Acting

Our approach to acting training is imaginative, spontaneous, and intelligent. We are about emotional depth and truthfulness, connection to the reality of the moment, and serving the writing as creative storytellers.

David's most influential teachers and mentors have been Philip Bennett (Sonia Moore), Richard Seyd (The Trigger Approach), Gary Imhoff, Al Mancini, Tom Keegan, Mark Jackson (Art Street Theater, SF), and Nan Crawford (Pacific Playback Theatre), to name a few. Lineage-wise, David’s teaching is influenced by the teachings and writings of Stanislavski, Michael Chekov, Stella Adler and Sanford Meisner.

Imagine being so deeply in the moment that every line flows effortlessly, allowing you to express yourself with complete spontaneity.

Imagine having a proven system to break down a script and uncover layers of your character that others might overlook.

Imagine developing a professionally trained voice that conveys the full spectrum of emotions, attitudes, and perspectives.

Imagine moving with freedom and intention, free of tension, bringing your character to life with physical specificity.

And imagine building an on-camera technique for performances and auditions that will make you more confident and bookable.
